Ken for Search Console · free

Google emailed you. Ken tells you what really matters.

Paste here the Search Console email saying that some pages aren't indexed. Ken explains what it means, what's behind it and what to do. And what not to touch.

Or forward Google's email to ken@kenkeepy.com

Ken replies with the report, usually within a minute. You can attach the report export too. Pasted here, the email stays in your browser. Either way, there's no need to sign up.

Why it matters

Google emails you about the things that matter least. And stays silent about the ones that matter most.

On 23 October 2026 Google had excluded 121 addresses of starleadsrl.it, Starlead's own site, from its index. In eight months it had emailed us five times, always about minor reasons. Each square below is an excluded address.

100 exclusions without a single email. Inside them were all 12 pieces of content that needed work and 2 of the 6 open folders. The other 4 arrived under the name “duplicate page”: a security problem, called something else.

Ken reads what Google sends you, looks at the addresses one by one and tells you which ones matter. It also tells you which to leave alone: a correct 404 or an intended redirect aren't things to fix, and trying to fix them does damage.

Why it matters for AI too: Google says that to appear as a link in AI Overviews and AI Mode, a page must be indexed (Google's documentation). A page outside the index is outside there too.

How Ken works

Three steps, one at a time

  1. 1Free, nowYou paste or forward the email

Ken explains the reasons in plain words. With the report export it classifies the pages one by one.

  2. 2Coming soonYou connect Search Console

Read-only. Ken checks the excluded pages on its own and tells you when a new one appears, often before Google's email.

  3. 3Coming soonYou install the plugin

For WordPress. Ken proposes the fixes, you approve, and it applies them with a backup copy and an undo button.

Questions
Do I have to fix everything Google reports?

No. Many exclusions are the right behaviour: an address that no longer exists should answer 404, a moved address should redirect, service pages shouldn't be on Google. Ken tells you which ones they are and why to leave them as they are.

The email says “new reasons”: is it serious?

Not necessarily. “New” means Google found at least one page with that reason after a period without any. It could be one page or a hundred: the email doesn't say. To know, you need the report export.

Why didn't Google email me about the other excluded pages?

In the Search Console emails of 15 sites Starlead looks after, over three years, the reasons “Discovered - currently not indexed” and “Crawled - currently not indexed” never appear. They're usually the most numerous, and the ones where the real work is. You only see them by opening the report.

Does Ken read my inbox?

No. Ken only sees the email you choose to give it. If you paste it here, it stays in your browser. If you forward it to ken@kenkeepy.com, Ken reads it to reply to you and a copy goes to the KenKeepY staff, who check Ken's replies. Your address doesn't end up on any list.

Can Google's emails reach Ken on their own?

Yes, with Gmail. In Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP add ken@kenkeepy.com as a forwarding address: Ken emails you the confirmation code to enter. Then create a filter with “From: sc-noreply@google.com” and choose “Forward it to ken@kenkeepy.com”. From then on every Search Console email reaches Ken too, and you get the report.

What does this have to do with AI?

Google's AI answers cite pages that are in the index. An excluded page can't appear as a source. KenKeepY measures how well artificial intelligence knows and finds your site: having the right pages in the index is the minimum condition.
